Some days you just don't want to cook. The thought of making a mess and chopping veggies for a half hour is the last thing you have in mind and you just want something ready. Unless boiling a pot of pasta sounds good to you, a minimal amount of chopping is never bad. This slow cooker recipe I have for you today takes less than ten minutes to prep and it's people friendly. Whether you're feeding kids or picky eaters of any age, it's sure to be a hit because it was in my house and that rarely happens.
All the work necessary for this meal is a little dicing. It takes less than ten minutes and then you throw it all in the slow cooker to be done with till you're ready to eat. Serve alongside some potatoes and fresh cut veggies and you're good to go.
In all honesty, they did turn out a little juicy for me. So to serve them I used a slotted spoon to drain some of the liquid. If you'd rather not have extra juice, I would just cut the tomato sauce in half for a more chunky joe. That should do the trick.
