Cooking With Stanley #8

This is going to be an uber short Cooking With Stanley. I mentioned last week that I was having some crazy weeks and little time to put together huge meals. Well, this was the worst of them all and I blame my inability to make it to the grocery store on time. There was additionally supposed to be an appetizer and dessert but I'll just be shifting those to a few new weeks. It was my youngest cousin's birthday the other weekend so I had to make something he was going to love. Aka, pizza.

My family makes homemade pizza often with our own recipe my family brought back from Italy and it's literally the best pizza you will ever have. Stanley's recipe was similar but his dough is a bit different and we use more spices which, as you can see, I added to the top. I thought that this pizza was really good. It's the first time I've made pizza by myself (with just a little help) and it was a success. We made two because we fed a ton of people and served it with some salad. I call this a successful birthday dinner.

Next week, I promise, there are going to be larger meals. I'm actually shopping for two of them this afternoon. Have you made homemade pizza before? Isn't it the greatest?
