Literary Junkies Tuesday {Link Up}

Hi everyone! Welcome to the Literary Junkies link up! I'm a bit late on posting today by accident but better late than never right?! Anyway, grab our button below and link up with Taylor and I this week! Next month we're reading The Bookshop on the Corner by Rebecca Raisin.

Pink Heels Pink Truck

Remember, the linkup is now the LAST TUESDAY of every month so mark your calendar and don't miss it!

Your co-hosts: Taylor from Pink Heels Pink Truck and Christine from Life With A Side Of Coffee

Here are our questions for this week:

1. What are you reading right now? Tell us about it.
I'm sadly still reading Accidental Happiness by Meredith Rachek. It has nothing to do with the book because when I do sit down and read I fly through. Unfortunately my reading time has not been the best lately. The good news is I have a flight in a few days that does not have wi-fi so I'm planning on finishing so I can review next week. I miss reading. I'm hoping this little trip of mine will give me ample opportunity to get a few pages in.

2. What was your favorite book you had to read in school and which was your least favorite?
Favorite: I was kind of a nerd and loved almost everything we read but I have to say The Great Gatsby was probably my favorite. Fitzgerald is such a beautiful writer. I could read it over and over again. Least Favorite: Most definitely Lord of the Flies. I hated that book and I was stuck reading it twice. If I never have to read it or hear a reference from it ever again it will be too soon.

3. What is your favorite book that was turned into a movie? Were you happy with the movie?
Breakfast at Tiffany's and yes. Absolutely yes. How can you not love the book or the movie. Audrey Hepburn played Holly Golightly perfectly and she was one of the only people that Truman Capote actually liked that had anything to do with his films. That should say something. I loved the book and wrote a thesis on it in high school. I love the move probably equally.

4. Which book do you wish would be turned into a movie?
I'd really like to see Let's Pretend This Never Happened by the Bloggess turned into a movie. I know it's a memoir and it might be complicated but it was the only memoir I have thoroughly enjoyed and laughed my toosh off for.

5. Did you set any reading goals for 2015? How are you doing with them?
I set a basic Goodreads goal of 30 books. I made it about a third of the way but hopefully will rectify that in the last few months we have left. You can track my reading progress on My Bookshelf.
